Wine Caps, Garden Giants, Stropharia rugosoannulata, a mushroom of many names! These hefty guys grow easily in outdoor beds made of woody materials. A devourer of wood, these edible mushrooms pop out in the Spring and Fall and sometimes in the Summer when conditions are right! Try them inter-cropped with vegetables, plants and herbs in your garden!
